Log Cabin Wilderness Camp is located at 10,000 feet elevation overlooking Mono Lake, in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The camp is only open during the summer, and is considered a High Adventure Base.
The program is geared for older scouts (13 and older) and ventures, and contains the following program features: C.O.P.E., Rock Climbing on a natural rock face, hiking, backpacking, mountain oriented first aid, and backpacking cooking. Crews check in, spend a day or two getting adjusted to the altitude, and then spen 4 - 6 days backpacking through Yosemite.
